Béconne and Allan are enchanting ruins of medieval villages, great to explore. Why not take a picnic to these spots?
The national Parc de Vecors is to the north. It gives you an opportunity for excellent hiking, beautiful mountain drives and vistas. You might even sight a mountain goat.
The town of Crest has a medieval prison and an oil mill worth a visit.
Dieulefit lies 15 km to the east and is famous for its pottery.
Le-Poët-Laval is 5 km away. It is said to be one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Nyons has a large Provençal market on Thursdays. The town is home to the best olives and olive oil in France. A visit to the olive co-operative and museum is a must.
Mirmande is a picturesque hilltop village with lots of artists' studios, funky boutiques and good restaurants.
The Ardèche gorge is about an hour to the west on the other side of the Rhône River, great for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking. Spectacular scenery.
